Sabir Rakishev22 October 2026I’m 38 yo and about a year or 2 ago I started feeling like an 80 year-old man, no energy , the drive was low and even my wife started to be very concerned. I went to many doctors and nobody really found anything. Testosterone levels seemed to be good. So it didn’t explain it. Also no diabetes or anything like that. Dr. Liv did a lot of functional tests, those are special tests that you can’t do in a regular lab and found out that I had problems with mitochondrial health, multiple vitamins were super low, and my thyroid was off. It took me about 6 weeks of treatment before i started to feel better but after six months, I felt like my old self again. The changes were gradual but I was patient and it paid off. I was looking for a good doctor, but it’s really hard to find and I tried a couple of clinics but they were all about just giving me medicines or injections for weight loss which I didn’t want. Dr. Liv gave me a plan that really made sense because it addressed the way I eat, exercise routine, my metabolism, and as a matter of fact, after roughly 3 months of treatment, I stopped some of my blood pressure medication’s and cholesterol medication because my levels normalized. They would order blood tests, see that I had anemia, and tell me I had anemia, but that was basically it. Nobody really took the time to explain what was happening or give me a clear treatment plan. I was left feeling like I had to figure out what to do on my own. My first contact with Dr. Liv was over the phone. I explained everything I had been going through and sent her my previous test results. She told me, “Don’t worry, we’re going to take care of this.” She then booked an appointment for the next day. That immediately made me feel like someone was finally listening to me and taking my concerns seriously. When I met her, she immediately recognized that my anemia needed to be addressed. She told me we were going to do the necessary tests and create a treatment plan so I could get better. For the first time, I felt safe, heard, and cared for. I was able to trust her and follow her recommendations with confidence. She made everything so easy for me. She collected my samples right there at her office and sent them directly to the lab, so I didn’t have to worry about arranging everything myself. She also noticed other issues in my blood work, and we started addressing those concerns as well. At that time, I was extremely tired, felt slow, and was dealing with many symptoms that were affecting my everyday life. Dr. Liv listened to all of my concerns and worked with me to address them one by one. She didn’t just focus on one diagnosis. She looked at the bigger picture. She has helped me with several different concerns, including my anemia, testosterone and hormone-related concerns, enlarged prostate, and back pain.
